Job Description
Job Summary
Prepare electrical designs that conform to the project requirement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Design electrical layouts.
Prepare design calculations.
Develop technical specifications to meet project requirements.
Develop drawings for CAD/BIM input.
Review drawings from CAD/BIM.
Prepare high level material quantification.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines during project preparation.
Shall carry out duties in accordance with quality and environmental management system, health and safety policies and procedures.
Shall report quality, environmental, health and safety problems or any suggestions to his/her immediate superior.
Shall perform other related duties that his/her immediate superior may assign from time to time.
Qualifications
A degree in Electrical Engineering
PRC License
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities Requirement
Basic knowledge of design and analysis of electrical distribution system (load analysis, feeder/protection sizing, fault analysis and equipment selection)
Basic knowledge of design and analysis of low and extra low voltage system (motor controls, lighting, receptacles and auxiliary systems)
Computer literacy and basic knowledge of the use of design software such as BIM Revit and AUTOCAD.
Basic knowledge of local and international codes and standards.
Knowledge in the application of the quality system.
