Performing basic architectural/engineering calculations.
Preparing specifications, reports and related data tables.
Maintaining liaison with design and drafting groups.
Preparing, reviewing, and approving drawings as required.
Under the direction of the Supervising Architect, may independently perform advanced technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.
May coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and other departments participating on an assigned project.
May assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Work on multiple complex projects simultaneously on concept design, schematic design, detail design, tender and construction drawings and documents (presentation and working drawings).
Involve in space planning, 3Ds perspectives, material selections and detail drawings. Liaise with clients / sub-contractors / suppliers
Lead architectural design teams including effective coordination with regional design teams, external sub-consultants, specialists and contractors, as the lead consultant to liaise well with clients’ representatives.
Review and provide technical viewpoint/advice on all local construction documents to ensure compliance with firm-wide standards, building systems, codes and regulatory requirements; Set the bar for technical excellence as well as commercial success
Flexible in working on multiple scales ranging from interior fit outs to Architecture, and Urban design projects with focus on Design and sustainability.
Coordinate and collaborate with a wide variety of internal operations, design, and engineering stakeholders to increase the sustainability, efficiency, and efficacy of site infrastructures.
Collaborate with local regulatory agencies and certification agencies to ensure compliance with local requirements and code.
Work on new project proposals and presentations.
Passionate about design thinking and application in Architecture, cities and sustainability.
Strong multi-disciplinary perspective, critical and creative thinking skills
Strong knowledge of CAD, 3D softwares, Sketchup, Rhino and Adobe suite is essential. BIM/GIS knowledge would be an added advantage.
Project management experience
Strong listening and communication skills with people from different disciplines
Strong organizational skills, ability to set priority and be multi-tasking
Take ownership of quality outcomes
Tertiary qualifications in Architecture is essential; Postgraduate qualifications are desirable as are other relevant professional training courses
5 years of professional work experience, with essential experience in working in Architecture / interior projects in Singapore.
Membership in relevant professional organizations. Eligibility for BOA Qualified Architect certification is an advantage.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
