AECOM Hydraulic Modelling Specialist in Shatin, N.T., Hong Kong

Hong Kong - , Shatin, N.T.

Job Summary

  • Perform Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to assess hydraulic performance and design water related infrastructures, including but not limited to pipe flow, open channel flow, treatment works, special hydraulic structures etc

  • Perform hydraulic assessment and design for drainage / sewerage system using InfoWorks ICM

  • Prepare reports and communicate modeling results to clients and to the team in clear and concise manner

  • Participate in project teams to achieve work outcomes

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline

  • Several years of experience in CFD simulations with focus on drainage, sewerage and treatment works

  • Experience in using OpenFOAM and Autodesk CFD is preferred

  • Familiar with BIM and CAD software in handling complex 3D geometry

  • Experience in using InfoWorks ICM is a plus

  • Willingness to travel between Hong Kong and mainland China

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and tackle challenges

  • Good interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English while good in Chinese is preferred
