AECOM Business Development Specialist in Shatin, Hong Kong

Hong Kong - Sha Tin, Shatin

Job Summary

Position Summary:

The Business Development Specialistwill work with senior leadership in the Greater China/ APAC on business opportunities. This individual will help to develop strategies for identifying and pursuing work in the Greater China and South East Asia. As part this role, the Business Development Specialist will be expected to coordinate efforts with other AECOM business lines in the Asia region as well as support the pursuit of international work while necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies

  • Monitor and track all responses to marketing activities

  • Provide solutions to clients and work together with business development team member on sales proposals, qualifications packages, and presentation materials and contract

  • Ensure high quality of proposal submittals

  • Maintain client relationship

  • Coordinate with project team leaders on project negotiations and execution

  • Track opportunity leads and prepare reports

  • Fosters collaboration among Business Development teams and facilitates work-load sharing, where possible.

  • Assist in other job duties as assigned

  • Collaborate with AECOM global strategies

  • Capable of directing and working with China and South East Asia Architecture teams on projects

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 4 years relevant working experience in Architecture or Engineering; BD role from consultancy services is preferred

  • Proven track record of project completion in China and South East Asia is preferred

  • Strong connection to past, existing and potential clients is a must

  • Proactive, meticulous, self-motivated and hands-on team-player with the ability to multitask-working

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skill

  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Putonghua preferred

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and other design software
