AECOM is seeking applications for a Senior Quality cum Material Expert for Highway & Bridge Project in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
Job Duties: The Quality/Material Expert shall review the test results of bore holes, quarry and borrow area material to find out their strength characteristics and suitability for using them in construction. He shall inspect the EPC Contractor’s field laboratories to ensure that they are adequately equipped and capable of performing all the specified testing requirements of the contract. He shall look into the quality assurance aspect of the construction works and supervise the setting-up of the various EPC Contractor’s suppliers/manufactures of Cable wires, Cement, Steel, sensors, raw material, batch mix plant, pre cast segments of super structure etc. He shall also ensure that the Bituminous mixing plants meets the specified requirements for such equipment. Experience in latest Quality Management techniques in highway projects shall have added advantage
Graduate in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
Professional Experience of at least 10 years in handling of Major Bridges/Highways Projects.
Min. Experience of 5 years as Senior Quality/Material expert in Design/Construction/Construction Supervision of Bridge projects or highway projects involving major bridges.
Experience as Material/Geotechnical Engineer in Construction /Construction Supervision of at least 2 Projects involving major bridges of length more than 500m.
Not more than 65 years of age
Post Graduate Degree in Geotechnical Engineering / Foundation Engineering/ Hydraulic Engineering/ Soil Mechanics Engineering.
Excellent Communication skills
Prior experience in similar project
