Job Description

AECOM seeking a results-driven Data Analyst who thrives in both team environments and independently to join our Enterprise Capabilities Team. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to drive actionable insights and optimize business processes, ensuring measurable impact and continuous improvement. This position offers a Hybrid work schedule offering both office and remote work opportunities based out of our office in Bangalore, India.

Key Responsibilities

This role will work with various Functional Leads in different regions to analyze, develop and put in place Information Management systems for a high-volume, high-paced operations without disrupting the normal day-to-day workflow. Identify opportunities for digitizing and automating various business processes. The Applications to be developed on MS Access, SQL, Advanced Excel, SharePoint, Power Platform, and similar platforms.

Manage the technical development and implementation of a comprehensive Information Management System (IMS) for managing project and business documentation, including provisions for electronic collaboration and project management; soft and hard-copy file transmission, storage, and retrieval; workflow management of all business and project document processing cycles from origination to archiving. Establish and maintain best practice in receiving, scanning, distribution, and electronic filing of documents. Develop online workflows with audit trail for various functions based on requirements. Lead in the organization and maintenance of a comprehensive library of business information management system applications. Develop and maintain a functional Information Management System for permanent and secure management of records in a digital format. Responsible for generating reports and dashboards as needed by the Project and Functional Manager using visualization tools such as PowerBI, Excel etc. Be proficient and stay updated on MS Access, SQL, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Power Platform, M365 and other platforms to improve the performance of the Information Management System.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent.

  • 2-5 years of career experience related to Application Development, Database support and Management.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel, VBA and Microsoft SharePoint platform. Proficient in Power Platform Apps such as PowerBI, PowerApps, PowerQuery, Power Automate will be a plus.

  • Strong learning ability to upgrade into cloud, digital and AI technology.

  • Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain procedures & DTPs Adaptability.

  • Quick learner of new software and technologies, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience using MS Access, SQL Server.

  • Ability to maintain good customer relationship with the ability to initiate ways to improve customer support customer experience (Customer Service).

  • Ability to be thorough and meticulous in completing assigned tasks and with the ability to propose ways to prevent or eliminate errors, discrepancies & issues. (Attention to Detail).

  • Ability to identify and resolve moderate and complex issues by applying best practices and technical expertise and may recommend solutions for unique scenarios. (Problem Solving)
